Trees provide so much to us and the ecosystem but sometimes they do need to go we try and limit as much tree removal as possible but of course sometimes they do have to go. The Chicken Farmer way is to keep what can be kept and use what can be used we strive to keep as much waste from the landfills as possible by selling firewood and using wood ash in our compost and to raise PH in acidic soils. Of course sometimes wood does end up going to the landfill but we do what we can and constantly expand our operation to do more leaving less at the landfills and more added back to the ecosystem.
